I had the pleasure of doing the Carbon Steel workshop and I cannot recommend it enough! Baz is so clearly dedicated and knowledgeable, that he made sure I was not only able to make the type of knife that I wanted, but that it’s practical, useful, and truly a beautiful piece of work. I am honestly so proud of my knife, and owe Baz many thanks for his patience, skill and knowledge throughout the day. To be able to shape and work with the materials yourself is a great experience, and Baz made sure that I could do so safely and confidently at each step. He’s also got great taste in music and is so welcoming, I had an absolute blast and many fun conversations – this is definitely something I’d love to do again, without hesitation!
If you have any doubts about your ability to make a knife that would be worth the time, effort and cost involved in these workshops, I can assure you that you’ll be in safe hands and be thrilled with the end result.

Fantastic experience with knowledgeable and patient teachers in Barry and Adam. Could not be happier with the knife they helped me make.
Could not recommend enough doing the knife making course and getting a unique self made knife that will last forever.

Bazza Gardner is an artisan at the top of his game! What he offers is a special one on one experience which will have you make a quality knife handcrafted with his expert guidance. I was fortunate to do it today with my son. Such a great day!
Thank you Bazz!!!

Just completed a 2-day Damascus Workshop, and I could not thank Barry and Adam enough. I had an amazing time, constructed the most beautiful knife and learned an incredible amount about the process of knife making. Barry and Adam were hugely knowledgeable, welcoming and patient. Plus with an attention to detail like no other.
If you’re looking to create some amazing memories, or give a gift that someone would never forget, I cannot recommend a Workshop course more highly.
