Well I had so much fun the first time I went back and made another one! Making your own knife is a great experience and Barry Gardner is a great teacher and knife maker but also just a great person. Personally his craftsmanship is amazing and you too will end up with a knife to be proud of. I have made a great all purpose knife and a cleaver for the kitchen and both were fun to make. For all the women out there reading this, knife making is not just for the boys…! In just one day you can go home with your own knife. What an achievement.
